Discover Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel, formerly The Inn at Pine Knoll Shores, on a stunning barrier island along North Carolina’s pristine coastline. With every room being oceanfront, our hotel boasts breathtaking views, ensuring the serenity of the sea surrounds every guest.

After an extensive renovation and rebrand, the 2024 re-opening promises a blend of coastal charm and modern sophistication, with state-of-the-art appliances in every room. Our tropical oasis invites you to relax on your private balcony, dine at our coastal on-site restaurant (Coming soon), or hang out at our seaside swimming pool and pool bar.

Our oceanfront hotel offers a natural sanctuary directly on the beach with beautiful surrounding attractions near Pine Knoll Shores, NC, also known as “The Beach Town in the Forest.” We would love to host your next wedding or private event, where guests can relax at our resort and explore the coastal surroundings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the arrival and departure times?
  • Our check-in time is at 4:00 pm, and check-out time is at 11:00 am.
  • Should you arrive before 4:00 pm, we will do our utmost to expedite your check-in process.
  • Kindly ensure that you are at least 21 years old and have a valid state-issued ID on hand for check-in.
  • Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that plans may need to change.
  • Our cancellation policy requires notifying us at least 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date to avoid forfeiting your deposit.
  • For reservations made within 24 hours of check-in or on the same day, they are considered nonrefundable.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be issued only to the original credit card used for booking.
  • Our daily resort fee encompasses a variety of amenities to enhance your stay, including two beach chairs for seaside relaxation.
  • Guests also enjoy access to our outdoor pool and hot tub, convenient onsite parking, complimentary coffee, high-speed Wi-Fi, a vibrant Tiki bar, engaging lawn games, onsite dining options, beach umbrella and chair rentals, and a fully-equipped fitness center.
  • The Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel is the perfect location for an intimate beach wedding, corporate retreat, or private event.
  • We have interior rooms that seat up to 80 guests, onsite dining and catering, and beachfront access for all guests.
  • Our onsite dining experience is coming soon!
  • Stay tuned as Rising Tide Seafood Company will offer delicious meals in a fresh space, featuring beachside dining, a kids’ play area, and a lively tiki bar.
  • We welcome up to two dogs per room at our hotel and offer a limited number of pet-friendly rooms.
  • We have a one-time charge of $75+ tax, per pet, per stay. Service animals are welcome and are exempt from fees. 
  • All pet waivers must be completed upon arrival.
  • Please note that pet owners are responsible for any damages caused by their pets to persons or property.
  • If you’re wondering about travel times, we’re conveniently located:
    • Just a 3-hour drive from Raleigh, North Carolina
    • Approximately 4.5 hours from Virginia
    • Within a 6-hour drive from Pennsylvania
    • Only a 5-hour drive from Washington D.C.
  • Yes, beach chairs are included in the hotel’s resort fee. 
  • Beach Chairs are placed on the beach each morning for guests to use as needed.
  • Umbrellas are provided and set up by the staff upon request.
